The Cherry Blossoms are expected to bloom approx. 5-7 days earlier than last year, and almost 12 days earlier than the average collected over several decades.
Today, 19 March 2021, Osaka area is expected to see the first cherry blossoms start to bloom. Of course, not all at once, but slowly, one by one.
Kyoto has already passed the expectation date which was 16 March, and Kobe City will follow on the 21st March 2021.

After a very sad and terrible year with Covid 19, the cherry blossoms of Japan are bound to bring back a smile to many thousands of people over the next few weeks.
